Professional Achievements

Wayne Camard ’79 moved to the Dominican Republic last year and recently launched a blog in English with news and analysis of the Dominican economy (and sometimes Haiti). Friends and others who are interested can subscribe at https://dominicanomics.substack.com/

 

 

 

 

 

Stephen Benson ’11 received International Diamond Society recognition from Coldwell Banker recently. Stephen was recognized among the top 7% out of more than 100,000 realtors worldwide for 2023. In addition, Stephen was named the top realtor in Southeast Florida and the number two realtor in Florida for the Coldwell Banker Web Leads conversion team.

 

 

 

Lance Oppenheim ’14 in is the director of a newly released documentary called Spermworld. Produced by the New York Times and FX, the documentary explores the lives of people who connect on unregulated online forums for sperm, and the odyssey they undertake as they attempt to create families and meaning in their lives. You can the watch documentary on Hulu.
 

Jordana Zimmerman ’23 will be joining the University of Texas coed Orange Cheer Squad for the 2024-25 season.

 

 

 

 

 

Alex Gladding ’23 is number 19 on the Inside Lacrosse (IL) Impact Freshmen List! Alex is a freshman at Vanderbilt University. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Haley Lenner ’12 was selected as one of 13 females working in the tech industry for a profile by Built In Atx.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Stephanie (Shank) Correa ’87 is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her company, Animal Cancer Care Clinics, a statewide network of eight locations treating dogs and cats fighting cancer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rebecca Cohen ’14 recently graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City with a Master's Degree in Public Health. Rebecca is completing a dual degree with the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and starting her fourth year of studies to specialize in foot and ankle surgery.

Amir Arison ’95 was on campus recently for the Founder's Council assembly. He met with the award recipients (including Leah Walters ’24, daughter of Joseph Walters ’95, Upper School Head) and posed with them and fellow alumni, Ashley (Palmer) Lindsay ’99, President of the Founder's Council, and Krista (O'Connell) Promnitz ’97, Assistant Head of Upper School. Bernie Moreno ’85 with his six siblings, including fellow alumni Paul ’99, Christina ’02, and Michael ’05 after a primary victory in Ohio. Bernie is running for a seat in the United States Senate.
