Professional Achievements

Melanie Levy ’00 is the producer of the documentary "Nathan-ism" which was shown at Boca International Jewish Film Festival. The documentary earned the Yad Vashem Award for an outstanding Holocaust-related documentary.

 

Anna Clare Kerr ’11 wrote and stars in "Shoulder Season," a narrative short film about grief, dementia, and the memories we choose to keep. She is currently crowdfunding to bring the film to production. Click here to visit the campaign page and watch the film's teaser.

 

 

 

 

 



Justin Wexler ’11, Principal at WndrCo, led a $14 million Series A investment in Alembic and joined the company's Board of Directors. Alembic is an AI-powered software that traces marketing campaigns to sales outcomes.
 

 

 

 

Diana Nyad ’67 is depicted in the Netflix original film "Nyad" about her swim from Cuba to Florida in 2013.

Spotted

Lee (Cheney) Dalbey ’65 visited campus and signed our alumni wall. Lee was a senior the year Pine Crest moved from Broward Boulevard to Northeast 62nd Street. A former "dormie," Lee recalled fond memories of leaving campus to walk to the pharmacy for an ice cream sandwich and being the only female student in her physics class. 


 

 

 

 

 

 

Marriages

Erica Kosches ’15 married Jordan Friedman in Parkland, Florida, on January 14, 2024. In attendance were sisters Alana Kosches ’18 and Lauren (Kosches) Mann ’11, and friends Brooke Bekoff ’15, Sara Shmueli ’15, and Meredith ’15.
