Pari Forood ’76, author of The Gates of Light and Foundation Executive Director, gave the keynote address at a Naturalization Ceremony welcoming new citizens to the U.S. in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Barbara Shinn-Cunningham ’82 has been appointed to establish Carnegie Mellon University’s cross-disciplinary neuroscience institute.
Matthew Rogge ’98 was named to Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list for 2018. Matthew is the Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc.

Paul Fletcher ’75 completed four years of service in the national leadership of the Society of Professional Journalists; Paul served as national president in 2015-16. Earlier this year, after 27 years as publisher and editor-in-chief of Virginia Lawyers Weekly, he became group editor-in-chief for his company's operations in Virginia and the Carolinas, overseeing four newspapers in three states. “And this all started when I was editor of Type One at PC,” said Paul.

In memoriam:
Justin Kennelly ’84 passed away March 3, 2018. He is survived by his wife Paula, his children Jennifer, Bradley and Samantha, granddaughter Mikaela, brothers John ’81, Scott ’87 and his father John B. Kennelly. He will be missed by his all of his friends and extended Pine Crest family.
Mrs. Mary Lane, longtime friend and member of the School community passed away on November 28, 2017 in Winter Park, Florida at the age of 97.
