Frankie Grande ’00 (far right) starred in Muhlenberg College's Summer Music Theatre production of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," receiving acclaim for his portrayal of J. Pierrepont Finch.
Brandon Danzansky ’14 traveled to Wuhan, China with the USC men's soccer team playing in the World Elite University Football Tournament (WEUFT).
Laura Sky Herman ’15 is one of six female actresses to be selected to join Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. This is the first time in it's 175 year history that the group has included women in their stage productions.
Tariq Cherif ’07, Co-Founder of the Rolling Loud music festival, was interviewed about the festival's origins and future.
Michael Rechter ’88, real-estate entrepreneur and CEO of Integra and Rechter Real Estate Company, will open "American Icon Brewery Kitchen and Taproom" in Fort Lauderdale this winter.

Ken Barrington ’97 was the honorary captain for the Panther's football season home opener. He performed the coin toss deciding that the Panthers would receive the ball and start on offense first. He attended the game with his wife, Yanina, and their children, Andy and Lennox.
Brooke Bernstein ’15 and Marta Ciesla ’17 spent a part of their summer working with Pine Crest swim camp! Brooke is a swimmer for Tufts University, and Marta swims for the University of Southern California.

Marcus Brodzki ’04 and his wife Tara and daughter Abigail, previously of Roswell, GA moved to Lawrenceville, GA in July 2018.
Marriages:
Stephen Kelley ’69 and Chevin Woodruff ’69 reconnected and married in 2012. They were second grade sweethearts before Chevin left Pine Crest after sixth grade.

Sarah Regensdorf ’97, husband Justin Greenbaum, and big sister Lila welcomed Jack Oakley Greenbaum on July 1, 2018.
In memoriam:
The Pine Crest Community mourns the passing of Mrs. Ellen Weiss. Mrs. Weiss was active in the life of Pine Crest School for more than three decades, first as a parent and parent volunteer and then as a beloved Fort Lauderdale campus Lower School teacher for 27 years before she retired in 2017.
Mrs. Weiss was a kind soul and a talented artist who incorporated her creativity and love of art into everything she did. Her soft-spoken, warm demeanor led to her being especially engaging with young children. Mrs. Weiss touched the heart and soul of generations of Pine Crest students, and she will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
The Pine Crest Community mourns the passing of Henry Wheeler ’72H. An honorary alumnus of the Class of 1972, Mr. Wheeler and his late wife Betty were longtime supporters of the School. As a Trustee, Mr. Wheeler was integral in the early development and relocation of Pine Crest to its current NE 62nd Street campus in Fort Lauderdale. Read more about Mr. Wheeler.
