Pine Crest School alumni Elyssa (Renert) Helfman ’99, Danny Glass ’09, and Joshua Aronson ’12 had work on display at Spectrum Miami, a juried contemporary art show.

The show ran concurrently during Art Basel from December 6 to 10, 2017 as part of Art Miami .

Danny exhibited a body of work called “Appraising the Art World,” which captures glimpses in time of people engaging with works of art displayed in accessible public spaces, or with works of art that are rarely seen because they are tucked away in exclusive places, such as private equity firms or awaiting sale by an auction house.

Elyssa’s work focuses on wildlife, with an aim to create awareness about endangered animals. She committed 10% of all of the proceeds from her exhibition to to wildlife conservation funds.

Elyssa also had a painting at the Endangered Fine Art and Photography Exhibition, which ran through December 9 at Dade Heritage Trust.
