Griffin and Zack are current student-athletes at Duke University. In their junior year, both started for the [Blue Devils](http://www.goduke.com/SportSelect.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=4200&SPID=1850&SPSID=22852), set team records for wins in a season, and advanced to the NCAA Super-Regional for the first time in Duke Baseball history. Conine led Duke in home runs, runs batted in, doubles, total bases, and slugging percentage, and was named to the All-ACC Team. Shortstop Kone led the team in hits and was named to the watch list for the best college shortstop. [Griffin was selected](https://www.mlb.com/cut4/blue-jays-draft-conine-to-join-guerrero-bichette-and-biggio/c-279815392) in the second round (52nd overall) by the Toronto Blue Jays, which is the highest draft position a Pine Crest alumnus has earned.
